EGS News 20th Meeting of EGS Contact Persons

20th Meeting of EGS Contact Persons


The meeting, held on 21.02.2008 in Brussels, gathered several Contact Persons representing 17 Members of our Association. The main aim of the event was preparation of the 24th General Assembly Meeting. The agenda focused on such items as selection of the new Secretary General and the assistant, achievements 2007, action plan 2008 as well as budget of our Association. For the first time the Contact Persons meeting contained a roundtable with the news and suggestions from our Members during which some suggestions on improvement of organisation of the EuroGeoSurveys statutory meetings and related documents were made.
