EuroGeoSurveys invites you to Green Week 2008
EuroGeoSurveys prepares its presence at the yearly EU event - Green Week, comprising conference and exhibition. This year the Green Week, taking place on June 3-5 in the Charlemagne Building in Brussels, focuses on sustainable use of natural resources. Its slogan is: “Only one Earth. Don´t waste it!”. At the exhibition EuroGeoSurveys will have a stand (no 15, first floor) together with the European Federation of Geologists and International Year of Plant Earth. In this way the massage on georesources we try to pass to the European decision makes will be much stronger. In addition we prepare together a special session on European Geology in International Year of Plant Earth. This will take place on June 5th, between 9.30 and 11.00 in the Red Room of the Charlemagne Building. The session will comprise three presentations: “Geology at the service of citizens” – M. Regueiro and I. Fernandez; “The International Year of Planet Earth, a contribution to sustainable resource management” – W. Janoschek and “Natural resources challenges for the XXIst century: the mineral resources example” – P. Christmann. EuroGeoSurveys invites everybody to visit its stand during the Green Week 2008 as well as to participate to the session.
