First International Conference on Remote Sensing Techniques

The focus of the event is on "Disaster Management and Emergency Response in the Mediterranean Region", which is a high-priority topic in the Mediterranean region. The Conference is expected to provide an international forum which will bring together experts from different remote sensing and GIS branches as well as experts from disaster management to present and discuss their results, and to exchange their experiences and expertise in Disaster Risk Reduction, using new technologies, development and applications. The event will cover several stages in risk management, such as knowledge, prevention, warning, management of emergency situations, post-analysis of crisis, environmental rehabilitation, etc.
