Forum of the European Geological Surveys Directors (FOREGS) was an unformal group providing the Directors with an unofficial platform for exchanging the ideas on the status of the national geological surveys. FOREGS ceased its activities in September 2005 and since then EuroGeoSurveys took over its tasks and responsibilities.
