Geochemistry
From the EuroGeoSurveys Members :
Project accomplished by the EuroGeoSurveys Member Organisations, it provides the first-ever pan-European low-resolution data and information on the contents of 65 different elements in soils, stream sediments and surface water.
Systematic high-resolution geochemical mapping and analysis covering the United Kingdom is undertaken along with worldwide regional geochemical mapping and environmental studies.
From academia, research institutions and international associations :
The European Association of Organic Geochemists (EAOG) was founded in 1983 and has its seat in The Hague. The organisation has strong European roots but boasts an international membership and pursues a global agenda. It seeks to promote organic geochemistry in its broadest sense by encouraging collaboration between its scientists and those from other disciplines.
The European Association for Geochemistry was founded to promote geochemical research and study in Europe. The EAG organizes biannual international Goldschmidt conferences in Europe. The EAG also sponsors other European Geochemical meetings and workshops, and it awards two medals for outstanding contributions to geochemistry.
