New call for Marie Curie Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways
The European Commission has recently published the call for proposals for the Marie Curie Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways (IAPP) funding scheme. The overall call budget amounts to €65 million. The call deadline is 27 July 2009. The Marie Curie IAPP scheme aims to foster long-term cooperation between public and private research by stimulating the mobility and training of researchers on one side, and by enabling enterprises, and more specifically SMEs, to benefit from the expertise of renowned scientists on the other side. Proposals must include as a minimum one organisation from each sector. The participating organisations must be established in at least two different Member states or Associated Countries. 140 proposals have been submitted in 2008 and involved 70 German partners.
